U.S. tax for foreign investors

Our office is local, but our clients are global. If you live abroad and hold U.S. investments, your income is subject to U.S. tax law; we prepare Form 1040NR and plan so you pay no more than your fair share. (Not currently taking new international students or international businesses.)

International tax

For attorneys · Escrow & IOLTA

We do your bookkeeping so you can practice the law.

Massachusetts requires lawyers to perform a three-way reconciliation of client money at least every 60 days, across escrow, trust, IOLTA and estate accounts. Ann specializes in exactly that for real estate attorneys and law firms, alongside the firm’s day-to-day books.

60days, at most, between reconciliations. Three records, one balance.
  1. Bank statementWhat the bank says is in the account
  2. Client ledgersWhat each client’s money adds up to
  3. Your checkbookWhat your own register shows

All three agree, every period.
